There are two sides to real estate investment. Lifestyle consideration is one of the most important elements of home ownership. Financial considerations of real estate, including investment in your home, are among the most important elements in your financial and income and estate tax planning structure. With over twenty years? experience as a certified public accountant and seventeen years of living in the Sandpoint area, I can help you achieve both your lifestyle and financial objectives where buying and selling real estate are concerned, both for your home and investment or income. During my tenure as a practicing CPA in Sandpoint, I was frequently involved in income tax and financial planning issues relating to real estate. I was selected by the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants to instruct seminars as part of the Society?s continuing professional education program and Income Taxation of Real Estate is among the seminars that I have taught on behalf of the Washington Society. As a long-time Sandpoint resident, I am very familiar with the Sandpoint lifestyle opportunities. I am a past president of one of Sandpoint?s gems, the Panida Theater and was selected as a charter member of the Better Business Bureau?s Sandpoint Advisory Board. I am active in masters swimming and love swimming a mile or two in the lake on a hot summer day. I also enjoy working on my own home and acreage and am happy to share my experience in creating a home that blends with the nature that our area offers. Most of all, I enjoy working with people. Whether your interest is buying or selling, home or investment, I am here to help.
Favorite Places
Outside of my home in the woods, my favorite place in the Sandpoint area is Dog Beach. While this beach is not for the idle sunbather, if you have a dog who (yes, spell check, I know it should be "dog that," not "dog who." Spell check has obviously not been to Dog Beach.) gets along well with other dogs, a hot summer day at Dog Beach is a treat for both man and man's best friend. I like to throw sticks for my dog Riley and then race him to see who can get there first. He's very competitive about this sort of thing, so I usually let him win.
